Based we believe on the Merovingian rings seen in France in the 7th century, this architectural wonder displays a most beautiful antique hand faceted Rose-Cut Diamond which is placed upon a foiled backing and has a refraction as of the purest mountain water. Dating we feel to the mid 20th century and likely crafted on the Continent, there are no stamps of marks to help us trace the origin... but all hand fashioned in 18ct yellow Gold with the most interesting of details to the gallery, just as in the Merovingian rings seen in Museum collections. A fabulous and interesting talking point, this piece resembles a flower, one of the oldest designs seen in jewellery since ancient times. The fabulous olden Diamond itself is recycled from a much earlier time and has an estimated weight of 0.50ct, but spreads a 0.80ct to the eye. The ring size is an 'N and a half' or '7' and could be altered somewhat to suit.
